Took the kids to see some of the ships that are here. This is the Goose bay. Ewan had more fun playing in the puddles than touring on the ship.

Ewan is finally starting to figure out how to eat an icecream. up until now he was eating it with his fingers instead of licking the icecream.

Another day at the pool

Ewan is starting to spend more time swimming in the pool independently. Quinn however still screams when we try to take her in.

Funny that we have been running for a few weeks now and I have neglected to blog about it. Then when I took our picture post run it is a bit unfocused. I guess this is how I must be feeling about the running these days. Jeff however, is doing great we are up to 3min run with 1min walk x 5. I pushed the stroller this morning and Jeff had just gotten off a night shift I am sure we were quite the site this morning at 730. The next time we run we are moving up. Here we come 4min.

Spent a great afternoon with Susan and Lindsay in the swimming pool. Ewan wouldn't even eat his supper tonight. He was too busy rubbing his eyes saying "I so tired".

Gigi found this at a yard sale. What a great find, Ewan loves it.

Ewan got himself a box yesterday and started packing his things. He said to Jeff " I taking these things to the new house"

Then he decorated the box with his stickers.

The Birthday Party

We couldnt have asked for a better day for Quinn'd first birthday party. The weather was great and the company perfect. Thank you to all that came and all those who sent their well wishes. It was like Chirstmas here last night opening all her gifts. She loves them all and Ewan has been helping her get them all out of their boxes. All her new clothes are in the wash.

We spent the morning at the Hampton Inn in Dartmouth crossing.

Mom and Dad stayed there overnight, we just went to use the pool.

Ewan had a great time, I didn't think we would ever get him out of the pool.

I found the greatest thing ever at the Super Store yesterday. Mini ice cream cones. They are the perfect size for the kids. You do not get the sugar high and the mess is far less.

Today Ewan ran his first race.

It was 500m, and all the kids got ribbons, too cute.

Laura and I ran 5km and Laura pushed the kids on the stroller.

The race was in Memory of Jessica, raising money for the IWK.

Not that she needs a headband, but I think it looks very cute.

This is a poster I made for Quinn's first year. The picture was taken the same day each month in the same white onesie. I love the way it turned out.
