ice cream cone

We took Ewan for his first ice cream cone at the Funky Monkey. What a mess but so much fun.

We put this suit on Ewan last night over his PJs when we went for a walk. He loved it so much we had a hard time pulling him away from the mirror to

go for the walk. Too cute, thanks Wanda.

Visitors

Ewan was very lucky to have some visitors today. His great grandfather and my cousin Katie. He spent the day with his Aunt Laura. His grandad also stopped in today. Jeff and I missed all the action. We were at the hospital visiting Quinn. She is doing well. We are hoping to move to a bed by the window soon. Much better than looking at the curtains between the babies all day.

Watermelon

Ewan loves watermelon. This is the first time we have given it to him with the rind on. It didn't take him long to figure out how to eat it. He was so keen on it he ate all the white part and would have ate all the green rind if we hadn't taken it away from him.

UP, Down, Up, Down. I thought Ewan was going to break the hospital bed. All he wanted to do was press all the buttons.

Ewan's New Quilt

Gigi finished the quilt she was making for Ewan. It was a long wait but, well worth it. Ewan loves it. He loves to talk about the fish on the quilt.

Girls room

Ewan has been spending a lot of time in the girls room. Whenever Ewan is quiet and out of sight, it is safe to say he is in the girls room pulling all their clothing out of the drawers. I think we will have to put some safety locks on the drawers or I will be forever picking up the clean cloths off the floor.

Too Cute!

We took Ewan to Baby reels this morning.( movies for moms and babies, on Wed mornings. They turn up the lights and the volume down) Today was sponsored by Lawtons/Sobeys so it was free and they gave out bags of free products. He did very well, but the wait for the movie to start was almost 2 hours. They had a pharmacist and dietitian there to do a presentation. So we didn't actually make it to the movie. We left just before the previews started. Maybe next time.

Belly

Ewan has become very fascinated with my belly and the babies lately. He likes to rub my belly and say babies. He also loves to pull all their cloths out of the dresser and tell you they are for the babies. I am sure that will all change once they get here.

Weeds

Thought it would be a good idea to start weeding the lawn yesterday. Jeff quickly found that Ewan didn't want to watch or follow him around he wanted to using the weeding tool or take off and getting into something else. So they pulled very few weeds yeasterday, But did enjoy the nice weather.

Outside

We were all happy to get outside for a little yesterday afternoon. After being stuck inside with all the rain the last few days, we were all going a little crazy. Ewan loves his swing, he has finally started to use the baby sign for swing. We are so proud of him.

Picking all the weeds in the yard. Seems to be a big job this year. Lots of dandelions, too bad Ewan doesn't pull them out by the roots. He just pulls off the tops.

Busy day

We were so happy to have visitors today. Great Aunt Wanda, Great Grandma Linda and Great Uncle Gillis were here in time to see Ewan wake from his nap. He was a little shy at first but soon warmed up to everyone.

Melissa and Keegan were over this afternoon for a visit. Ewan is starting to be very interested in the 'baby'. Hopefully he will be as good with his sisters as he is with Keegan.

Ewan is very happy to have Dad home for a few days. He loves to spend time with him reading the paper at breakfast time.
